Singing Bowls:
A singing bowl is a bell, shaped as a bowl. The greatest
characteristics of these bowls are their vibrations. They were
traditionaly made throught Asia using 7 metals,
Copper,
Tin, Iron
Zinc, Lead, Silver and Gold.
This practice continues today in
Nepal, Japan, India and China.
Over
the centuries, singing
bowls have been used for healing, meditation, music and purifying
negative influences. When struck or "turned" with a wooden
stick (puja stick),
the bowls create overtones effective for creating harmony and peace.
